Our group uses a combination of different techniques:

  • Field-based structural geology and mapping
  • Quantitative microstructural analysis including electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD)
  • Thermal modelling
  • Mineral-based thermometry and barometry including Raman-based techniques
  • Geochronology etc
